Even though plated jewelry is more resistant to tarnishing, it should never be worn in or around water. We strongly recommend removing your piece before coming into contact with water and storing it in a safe, dry area. If your piece does get wet, immediately pat it dry with a micro fibre or soft cloth.

Chemicals from products such as lotions, perfumes, and jewelry cleaning agents can fade or discolor plated jewelry. Sweat and body moisture can also effect the wear of your piece, so please be mindful to remove your piece before strenuous activities, and before bed.

Rubbing against hard or rough surfaces can produce micro scratches in the plating which is why we provide jewelry boxes and pouches that offer save housing for your pieces when they aren't being worn. We full-heartily suggest keeping your box or pouch close by to safely store your piece.
